Peptide Therapy
Las Vegas
Provider-supervised peptide therapy at a LegitScript-certified clinic in Summerlin. Sermorelin therapy and goal-based protocols for longevity, recovery, body composition, and performance — assessed in person, not ordered online.
Short Chains of Amino Acids.
Precise Biological Signals.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the same building blocks your body already uses — that act as signaling molecules, directing specific biological processes. They don't override your physiology; they communicate with it. Depending on the target receptor, a peptide protocol can influence growth hormone production, tissue repair, fat metabolism, sleep architecture, or cellular resilience.
Peptide production declines naturally with age, as do many of the downstream processes it governs. Therapeutic peptide therapy restores those signals with pharmaceutical precision — under the same medical supervision and sourcing standards that apply to every other treatment at Body Balance Medical.
At Body Balance Medical, all peptides are sourced from licensed compounding pharmacies that follow Good Manufacturing Practices for identity, purity, and sterility. Buying peptides online carries significant risks of unknown purity and zero clinical oversight. That's not how we operate.
Prescription required. Every peptide protocol at BBM begins with an in-person evaluation by Mia LoPreiato, NP. No protocol is dispensed without a proper clinical assessment, lab baseline, and provider-signed prescription.

Peptides interact with specific receptors rather than broadly affecting the entire system — offering precision that conventional protocols often lack.
Protocols like Sermorelin stimulate your body's own pathways rather than replacing hormones directly, preserving the feedback loops that keep levels balanced.
Peptide therapy works alongside hormone optimization, medical weight loss, and IV therapy — not in isolation.
Sermorelin — and a Goal-Based Menu
Determined at Your Assessment
Our featured and primary protocol is Sermorelin. Beyond that, we offer a comprehensive goal-based menu organized into longevity, recovery, body composition, and performance categories. The right protocol for you is determined during your in-person evaluation — not from a drop-down menu online.

No protocol is dispensed without a clinical assessment and lab work.
Every vial sourced, labeled, and tracked.
Sermorelin —
The Right Starting Point
Sermorelin is a synthetic analogue of the first 29 amino acids of human Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH). Originally FDA-approved in 1997 for diagnosing and treating growth hormone deficiency, it was later voluntarily discontinued for commercial reasons — not due to safety or efficacy concerns. Today it's available by prescription in compounded form from licensed pharmacies.
Unlike exogenous growth hormone, Sermorelin works by stimulating the pituitary gland to produce GH in its natural pulsatile rhythm. Because physiological feedback loops involving somatostatin and IGF-1 remain intact, the risk of GH excess is substantially lower — making it the appropriate entry point for patients new to peptide therapy and those who prefer a conservative, physiologically aligned approach.
Sleep Quality
Many patients report deeper, more restorative sleep within the first one to four weeks. GH is naturally secreted during deep sleep cycles; Sermorelin supports both.
Body Composition
Clinical data shows measurable lean mass improvements alongside improvements in IGF-1 levels and insulin sensitivity over a 16-week protocol in adults 55–71.
Recovery & Energy
Patients frequently report reduced post-workout soreness, faster tissue repair, and improved energy for daily and physical demands.
Healthy Aging
Long-term Sermorelin use supports skin elasticity, bone density markers, and overall metabolic health as part of a comprehensive longevity approach.

Sermorelin is rarely prescribed in isolation. Your provider may combine it with TRT, medical weight loss, IV therapy, or other protocols based on your full evaluation and goals.
Individual variation is significant. These are ranges reported by patients, not guaranteed outcomes.
Sleep Improvement
Deeper sleep stages, more restorative cycles, and improved sleep architecture are the earliest reported changes.
Energy & Recovery
Improved daily energy, reduced post-workout soreness, and better recovery between training sessions become noticeable.
Body Composition
Measurable lean mass gains and fat reduction typically emerge around this window, with continued improvement to six months.
Aging Markers
Skin elasticity, bone density support, and broader metabolic improvements become measurable with sustained protocol adherence.
From Assessment to
Ongoing Supervision
Peptide therapy at Body Balance Medical is not a self-service program. Every protocol is built on a proper clinical evaluation, licensed pharmaceutical sourcing, and ongoing monitoring by Mia LoPreiato, NP.
In-Person Evaluation
A thorough review of your health history — endocrine, cardiovascular, metabolic, and sleep history — with a physical exam. Baseline labs: IGF-1, glucose, thyroid, and lipid panels. Candidacy and goals assessed before any protocol is discussed.
Protocol Design
Based on your evaluation and lab results, your provider selects the appropriate peptide, dosage, schedule, and duration. If you're already in a hormone optimization or weight loss program, the peptide protocol integrates with — not duplicates — that care.
Treatment Initiation
Sermorelin is administered as a subcutaneous injection at bedtime — we provide injection technique training at your first session. All medications are sourced from licensed compounding pharmacies following Good Manufacturing Practices. First few weeks include closer check-ins.
Ongoing Supervision
Regular follow-ups include lab testing (IGF-1, glucose, metabolic markers), clinical assessment of sleep, energy, body composition, and side effects. Doses adjusted based on response. Three-month evaluation minimum, then continuation or modification as appropriate.

Mia leads peptide therapy and hormone optimization at Body Balance Medical. Her clinical approach combines evidence-based peptide protocols with a deep understanding of metabolic health, hormone balance, and longevity medicine — ensuring every protocol is built around your specific lab results and goals, not a standard template.
Peptide therapy at BBM is not a mail-order program or a telehealth prescription. Mia sees every patient in person, reviews their labs, and adjusts dosing throughout the protocol. This is what supervised clinical peptide therapy looks like — and it's why the approach produces more consistent results than unsupervised programs.

What Most People Want to Know
Before They Apply
Body Balance Medical holds LegitScript Healthcare Merchant Certification — a rigorous third-party verification of legal compliance, licensure, transparent operations, and patient safety. Every protocol is supervised in person by Mia LoPreiato, NP, not through a telehealth-only or mail-order model. Peptide therapy at BBM begins with a real clinical evaluation, licensed pharmacy sourcing, and ongoing monitoring — not a questionnaire and a shipment. We're also a LegitScript-certified clinic, which means our prescribing practices, sourcing, and advertising all meet verified compliance standards.
Sermorelin is most relevant for adults experiencing low energy, poor sleep quality, difficulty maintaining lean muscle, excess body fat (especially around the midsection), slow recovery from workouts or injury, or early signs of aging. It suits patients seeking natural hormone support rather than direct hormone replacement, and those who prefer a conservative, physiologically aligned approach. Patients with active malignancy, uncontrolled diabetes, untreated thyroid disease, or pituitary tumors require specialist evaluation before starting any GH-stimulating protocol. Pregnancy and nursing generally exclude peptide use.
Many patients report sleep quality improvements within the first one to four weeks. Energy, mood, and exercise recovery improvements typically emerge between weeks four and eight. Measurable body composition shifts — increased lean muscle, reduced fat — usually become apparent around eight to twelve weeks, with more pronounced effects at three to six months. Skin, bone density, and aging markers may require six months or longer. Individual variation depends on baseline hormone levels, lifestyle, nutrition, exercise, and overall health. Medical supervision and proper dosing are essential for optimizing your timeline.
Peptide therapy is generally well tolerated under medical supervision. Most side effects are mild and temporary — injection-site redness or soreness, possible mild fluid retention, and occasional swelling. Because Sermorelin stimulates your body's own growth hormone production rather than introducing exogenous GH, the risk of excess is lower, though monitoring is still essential. We track IGF-1, glucose, and metabolic markers throughout your treatment. All medications are sourced from licensed compounding pharmacies — purchasing peptides online carries significant risks of unknown purity and no clinical oversight.
Administration method depends on the protocol. Sermorelin is administered as a subcutaneous injection — typically at bedtime to align with your body's natural GH secretion cycle. We provide comprehensive injection technique training at your first treatment session. Other protocols in our goal-based menu may use different delivery methods — your provider will review the appropriate approach based on your specific protocol during your assessment.
Beyond Sermorelin, our goal-based protocol menu covers skin quality and anti-aging support, metabolic function and fat loss, injury recovery and tissue repair, muscle development, inflammation balance, and performance optimization. These are offered through our goal-named program series — Glow, Tone, Revive, Sculpt, Wolverine, GAIN, and KLOW — each tailored to a specific outcome area. The appropriate protocol, specific compounds, dosing, and duration are determined during your in-person evaluation and are not disclosed on this page for clinical and compliance reasons. If you have specific goals in mind, bring them to your assessment — Mia will walk you through every option that's appropriate for your situation.
